Image Lookup Tools

The social network for professionals known as LinkedIn has become a major networking and recruiting tool for virtually every industry.

But of course, when something becomes popular online, the bad guys take notice and create scams.

One of the most dangerous LinkedIn scams has them posing as a job recruiter with what appear to be amazing employment positions.

The aim is get you to fall for the ‘opportunity’ and give up personal info they can use to compromise you.

Watch for grammatical errors, strange wording and profiles with little activity and few connections.

Another way to sniff out scammers is through the profile image since so many of them use someone else's picture on these fake accounts.

One quick way to check the profile pic is to do an image search via Google images or the Tin Eye website https://tineye.com to see if it’s actually someone different.
