I am trying to delete certain "favorite" web sites that keep reoccuring. I delete them under Internet Explorer( clicking on favorites and organize folders) and in Windows Explorer itself under "favorites". However, whenever I turn on the computer and click on start and look at "favorites" the web sites( that were initially deleted and emptied in the recycle bin) are still there. For some reason they won't be deleted.

Any suggestions on how to permanently delete these recurring "favorite" web sites?

Thank you very much for any information.

As an added assurance that the Website does not pop up on your web-browser I recommend following these few steps in order to delete the web-site from your favorites after you had erased it from the Internet Explorer and emptied the recycle bin.

Click on Start Control Panel Internet Options In the Internet Properties dialog box you will click on the General Tab, if not already in it.

Then you will click on Delete Cookies when finished deleting then click on Delete Files also waiting for the deletion of the files You will also click on Clear History. This will certainly erase any previously viewed we-sites and will certainly optimize the speed of your downloads
