3D Printers Have Arrived




We feel like visionaries. We have to gloat! Now our prediction is reality.

It’s time for another Data Doctors Tech Tip.

OK, we knew that this was one of the biggest things at CES and we told you about them here 3D printers.

Staples will begin selling 3D printers in select stores and online at the end of this month... That was easy!

We told you about all the great uses for these amazing printers, in case you forgot, lets recap.

You can create replacement parts, tools, toys, puzzles, even the highly debated handgun.

Until now 3D printers have been out of the price range for most of us, but now they are coming down in price, and showing up on the shelves.

Staples is rolling out Cube 3D printers... these suckers are just under $1,300 bucks, still not cheap enough to make juniors Christmas list, but it’s a far cry from the $25k price tag not too long ago.

Doesn’t matter if you're a Mac or Windows user. The Cube 3D Printer works with both and includes lots of templates.

Staples is one of the first retailers to offer a 3D printers, and you can expect the prices to drop into the hundred of dollars in under a year.
