With 250 million users, half of which use the site every day, it's obvious that Facebook has become a personal communiction phenomenon!
Statistically, the largest group of new users is over the age of 35, which means that many of the new users did not grow up with technology.
This means that many of you are dipping your toe in Facebook's pond, but you're no likely to understand all that it has to offer.

Don't forget websites like "kick"youtube.com. You just add "kick" in front of the URL when you want to grab a video and you have the ability to convert it to a format that is useable. Also, clipnabber.com is another good site. I've used zamzar.com and although it is good, you can't always convert a video.
