Why won't my CD drive open?

hi I just bought a new computer and my CD ROM opener will not open. I inserted a CD into the computer and now the opener thing will not open. When i push the button, all i hear is a clicking sound. Can you please help me. thanks.

You have a hardware problem.

First concern is how to get your CD back.

Straighten out a sturdy paper clip, the larger variety, and insert it into the tiny hole beneath your CDROM drive door Pick at the door with your finger and pull it open Be gentle.

Next, power up your PC, gently push the drawer back in, then call or see the person who sold it to you Don't waste time Some warranty periods are notoriously short these days.
