How do I use copy and paste?

The July 5th AZ Republic business page article related to Spam Cops was great. I went to the site and registered as it instructed. To report receiving spam mail, they tell you to "Paste entire spam here (headers, blank line, body)" in the window provided. This may sound stupid, but, how do you paste spam e-mail into a web page?

This is definitely not a stupid question! There are many users of the internet and email that do not realize how great cut/paste can be on a computer, and how much time it can save.

First a brief overview Almost anything can be edited using cut/paste, copy/paste First text is highlighted carefully using the mouse, starting at the top most left part of the text you want to copy or move, then click and drag the highlight to the end of the text This may take some practice Remember that the exact text that is highlighted is the text that will have something done to it Then click on edit, then click on either copy or cut If you cut it this will remove the highlighted text from the original document, if you copy it the original document will remain the same At this point your selected text is sitting in a holding area waiting for you to paste it Then go to the document where you wish to place the text and click the mouse once to bring the cursor to where to want to place the text, then click edit, then paste This will place the text there You can go from document to document, or email to document, or in your question from email to the spamcop web page Although don't be fooled, we went to that sight and you are not inserting your email into their site, you are merely inserting your spam email into an email to their company!
