Today's network includes many types of systems, including Macintosh, PCs, and others Getting these disparate systems to talk to each other can be a challenge Such is the case when you're using Microsoft's Outlook 97 client on your PCs in an environment that includes Macintosh machines Microsoft has identified some problems with reading file attachments sent from a Mac client to Outlook 97 Outlook users are unable to edit, forward, or drag Mac attachments that are received encoded in MacBinary format from any source except Mac Office version 4.2 documents sent from the Mac Exchange As of now, Microsoft does not have a fix for this but is actively working on a patch We'll keep an eye on the Microsoft site and post the patch as soon as it arrives.
