EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in module APITRAP.DLL

Every 4-5th time I start my system I get the attached error (3 recent samples)

No items will load in my system tray, but everything seems to work OK. Start up includes McAfee Virus Scan,Dual Scrolling 4D mouse, and Cliptray. Any help? Thanks.

This issue can occur due to an incompatibility between Internet Explorer 5 and the Apitrap.dll file that is installed by Symantec's Norton Cleansweep version 4 program.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Symantec to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue.

An updated Apitrap.dll file that corrects this issue with Internet Explorer 5 is available from the following Symantec Web site:

http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/ftp/cleansweep/cleansweep_v4.html
