There is a portable Mini USB drive (like a hand held hard drive) that you can purchase.

It has any where between 40 - 60GB of space and it plugs in the USB ports.

When you plug it into your old computer, while it is booted up, go into My Computer and you will see that it registers as a drive.

On this drive, you can save all your data and once you have done that you can then plug into the USB port on your new computer and retrieve the data you need.

It will cost you about $60 It may even be on sale Check COMPUSA, STAPLES(maybe), or check any computer hardware store.
